Do you ever wonder what the heck you’re doing here? I do. All the time. To help me sort things out, in 2010 I created My True North, a combination of writing and other creative outlets that make me happy. I started making affirmation cards and magnets, then created a Facebook page, learned to make jewelry, designed my own greeting cards, built a website, deleted the Facebook page, started a blog in 2013, and merged the blog and website a while back.
I’m also writing a memoir based on notes my girlfriends and I passed to each other from 7th-12th grade. Do you know anyone crazy enough to save almost 600 notes and cart them around for more than forty years? You do now.
